I truly wish I had more to say on this—some sort of great fanfare, confetti, something marginally more exciting than HERE, READ THE BOOK 😂
But, real talk? I'm tired.
And I'm never, ever going to coordinate a book release the same week as a massive festival I'm involved in ever again.
Probably. 🤪

The reviews being posted about Queen of Night—and loving all of them!
This was an especially fun and exhilerating novel to write, as it imbues a mixture of darker fae creatures from around the world (see example below), an original creature made just for this series, and a heart-pounding scene inspired by a repeating nightmare I used to have as a small child.
Fun times 🤪
Beyond the Bookshelf
In yet another aggravating instance of a small business trademarking a common phrase in the Book Community, one thing has become exceptionally clear: I don't think anyone is actually running the Trademark/Patent Office. I've emailed with general questions a few times (and I do mean general, nothing case-specific), and all I've received back were AI-generated responses that didn't even address keywords found in my emails. So while it is annoying that anyone would attempt to own common phrases, I feel we can't exactly blame them for succeeding. I'm also officially unwilling to trademark anything at all by this point, because why bother when there's no one at the helm? 😅
Speaking of AI-generated junk, guess who's pretty much shifted literally everything but Support to AI? If you immediately thought, "Probably Canva", you are correct. I have, sitting in a box next to this laptop, 400 misprinted bookmarks that are still usable, but not meeting the actual specs I'd ordered. I did get a refund, thankfully—but only after figuring out, with the help of their (honestly, attentive and kind) Support, that the repeating "production errors" are most likely due to AI running the whole operation now.
Incidentally: free bookmarks available this weekend during Oktoberfest in The Amana Colonies, Iowa! Along with free butterbeer, brewed down the street 💕

Song of the Sidhe
Aside from Book 3's launch today, I have one related announcement to make in case anyone has any questions:
No, there will NOT be a standard paperback edition made available...
...until after the Kickstarter campaign in January 2027.
Why? Because when you back the Kickstarter for the Special Editions (which includes Queen of Night), you're getting the super fancy version for the exact same price as the Standard Editions. It felt kinda gross to be like, "buy my not-fancy paperback!" when I already knew the more desirable version would be available pending the campaign's success.
I mean, look at these! Wouldn't you rather have this instead?? 👀🤩
After the campaign ends, Special Edition prices will go up from $24.99 (which is what Standards are currently priced at) to roughly $30.99, to cover additional expenses like shipping, etc. Bulk ordering for a campaign helps keep the price lower, which is how I'm able to offer this to you (and I'm so happy I can!) 💕

Years ago, he didn’t want a lowly Omega like me as his Luna.
I watched as he became Alpha of our pack, wondering when he’d publicly claim me. I was a fool.
I should’ve known that despite telling me sweet things in private, he’d never bite an Omega like me.
As my heart began to break, I left our pack. While carrying his secret baby in my belly. After raising my baby in an isolated cabin, I was admitted to his brother’s pack. But when my Alpha ex sees me there, his inner wolf goes insane with jealousy.
He breaks into my cabin and watches me sleep.
And after he sniffs my scent and his self-control snaps, he carries me back to the pack of my youth. He drags me to the mating ceremony and bites me to mark me.
I’m furious that he refused me in the past and now suddenly wants me. So I run.
But he corners me with his sweaty body, and I’m trapped.
The mark on my neck is pulsing, and my body is betraying me. What will the Alpha do once he finds out about my massive secret? The Rosethorn Valley Wolves are ruthless, merciless, and sure about one thing: When they meet their mate, there’s nothing that will stop them from claiming and impregnating her. Touch her and you’ll die. Guaranteed.
